Introducing our newest club of 2018 – Sewtopia! April 21st, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Sewtopia will be a daylong multi-project class on Saturdays for beginners* to advanced sewers. The club will meet each quarter. You will learn new techniques and methods for various sewing and quilting projects. All club members will leave with finished projects at the end of the day. All materials and lunch are included in the cost of the class, just bring your sewing machine**.
*Beginners need to know how to operate their machine and sew a straight line. We will help with the rest. These projects are not difficult.
**Machine must be in good working order. You do NOT need an embroidery machine, The Broken Needle will demonstrate the Janome 500 E during the club and you will have your embroidered pocket for your apron complete.
Here is a list of what you will be making this session:
- Craft apron with personalized embroidered top pocket
- Set of nesting microwave bowl cozies (small, medium, & large)
- Bee Creative – pin cushion rope bowl/notions holder
- Kitchen Boa
- Mystery project
You will receive instruction and written patterns for all of the projects.
You will have the option to pick out your fabric choices for the apron, kitchen boa, & microwave bowl cozies. Kits will be made by The Broken Needle before this event.
